Donating to Edgewood
Because all of our funding comes from private sources, it is never possible to plan a long-term future for the Edgewood Children’s Ranch. In these days of increasing concern over youth-related crime, we have no shortage of families who need help….but because we never turn a child away based on ability to pay, there is always a need for money to keep the program up and running. For this reason we invite you to consider giving today in order for the Edgewood Children’s Ranch to continue its work in the future.
Even though parents pay what they can afford to help house, and educate their children, this is often minimal to the actual cost which is accrued. The balance is made up from gifts of financial support from individuals, churches, foundations, and corporations.
Edgewood Children’s Ranch is a 501C-3 registered charity and all gifts are tax deductible. The Ranch does not accept Federal or State funding, since that would require departure from Christian principles which is center to the Ranch.

Additional Non-Cash Gift Giving Opportunities
Existing Life Insurance Policies- Simply transfer an existing policy to the Edgewood Children’s Ranch as owner and irrevocable beneficiary. The cash value of the policy is tax deductible.
New Life Insurance Policies- A policy for the benefit of Edgewood Children’s Ranch will guarantee delivery of a much larger sum later. You may take a tax deduction for the amount of your premiums if Edgewood is the permanent owner and beneficiary.
Charitable Trusts- You can fund a trust to generate a regular income payment for the rest of your life and for other beneficiaries you select while saving considerable taxes.
Charitable IRA-You can utilize an IRA making Edgewood Children’s Ranch the final beneficiary, thereby avoiding substantial income and estate tax.
Bequest- You may designate a percentage of your estate or a specific dollar amount. The bequest reduces the amount of your estate, subject to the federal estate tax.
